Hello, I’m Nelson Paiva.
I’m a father, a husband, and a wedding and family Photographer. Photography came into my life very naturally, driven by the desire to preserve real memories — the kind that become even more valuable over time.
At weddings, I aim to photograph in a natural and discreet way, allowing moments to unfold without much interference. What interests me most is capturing genuine emotions — the looks, the embraces, the small gestures that often go unnoticed, but truly tell the story of the day.
Working Style
My photography is defined by a documentary, authentic, and timeless approach. I love working with natural light, spontaneous moments, and simple compositions that highlight people and their emotions.
For me, photographing a wedding is a true privilege. It means stepping into the story of two people and helping preserve it forever.

FAQ´s
What is the delivery timeframe for the photos?
You’ll receive a selection of highlights within the first week after the wedding, so you can relive and share some of your favourite moments straight away.
The complete gallery is delivered within 30–90 days, depending on the time of year and my workload.
How many photos are delivered?
There is no fixed number of photos, as every wedding is unique. The final number depends on the flow of the day, but a careful and thoughtful selection is always made, ensuring a complete set of images that tells your story in an authentic and consistent way.
Will our photos be safe?
Yes. I always work with backup systems during and after the wedding, ensuring the safety of all images.
Can we choose photos for the album?
Yes. After the gallery is delivered, you will be able to select your favourite photos for the album.
How do payments work?
Payments are made in three instalments:
- 25%, upon signing the contract
- 50%, 30 days before the wedding
- 25%, after the gallery is delivered
To secure your date, a 25% deposit of the total service value is required.
Is travel included?
Travel expenses are not included for weddings outside Portugal. Transportation, flights, accommodation and any other travel-related expenses required for the wedding will be covered by the client.
Is video included?
No. I work exclusively with photography. However, I collaborate with trusted video teams that I’m happy to recommend. I believe hiring both services separately allows for a more personalized and focused result in each area.

That’s completely normal. Most couples feel that way at first. My approach is designed to help you feel relaxed and comfortable, without pressure, allowing everything to unfold naturally and effortlessly.
